Guard Your Mouth, Tongue And Voice- Hon Ayew Afriyie To Ken, Bawumia
The Member of Parliament for Effiduase/Asokore, Hon. Nana Ayew Afriyie, is advocating for unity as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares to vote for a flagbearer ahead of the 2028 general elections.
However his major concern is about guarding against statements which has the potential to erode every stride they make towards presenting a united front ahead of the elections.
In a studio interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV, the NPP legislator stated that past experiences in the 2024 elections, has taught his party that certain words and comments play a key role in elections.
“Whether it is Ken winning or Bawumia, they have to guard their voice. This is because here in Ashanti region at Adum, they (NDC) were playing voices of leading members of our party to kill the drive. It was all over”, he said as a reminder.
He emphasised that “what we are saying in the ‘Thank You Tour’ is that after contesting, we got to guard our mouth, tongue, guard your voice.”
