Gov’t To Launch Youth Employment Fund Program- Lawyer John Kumah Reveals
The government has hinted to launch Youth Employment Fund (YEF) program in 2022 to enhance the living standards of the youth.
This was revealed by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Hon. Lawyer John Kumah in an interview on Wontumi TV Morning Show.
He said the YEF program would be contained in the 2022 budget, “and would be launched after the presentation of the budget.”
According to the Deputy Finance Minister, the YEF program is indistinguishable from the other youth employment programs.
But the Ejisu MP was quick to say that, NEIP and the GEA disbursement process would be used.
He indicated that government will set up endowment funds in the various Universities and Senior High Schools to provide financial support to qualified applicants.
Lawyer John Kumah emphasized that the YEF program will cover every youth who wants to establish a business.
