Govt Allocates Ghc10m To Support Youth Setup Businesses- YEA CEO, Justin Kodua Reveals
As part of efforts to solve unemployment issues in the country, the government has dispensed Ghc10 million to support youth to establish their own business.
The Chief Executive Officer for Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong revealed this at the 2-day Job, Career & Entrepreneurship Fair in Kumasi which was captured by wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw.
Justin Kodua indicated that not all the youth will secure a job at the fair. “Some may have a wonderful idea or business plans and all they need is guidance and financial support.”
According to him, the YEA has introduced 4 key policies to solve unemployment issues.
Lawyer Justin Kodua enumerated the policies as;
1 Job Fair Centre
2. Artisinal Recruitment
3. Flagship Program focusing on Agriculture
4. Career Guidance and Training.
He said if the unemployed youth will pay attention to whatever will transpire at the program, they will not go home destitute.
