The Municipal Chief Executive of Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region, Anita Love Obo Amisaah, has addressed the rumors circulating about ritualists allegedly causing male genitalia to disappear.
According to these rumors, whenever they touch a male’s genital area, the victim’s penis vanishes. However, the head of the security council of the municipality has debunked these claims, stating that no medical team has corroborated such rumors.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, she disclosed that the issue has caused fear, panic, and chaos among residents, urging them to avoid spreading unverified information and continue their daily lives without undue concern.
Emphasizing their commitment to stopping the spread of misinformation.
“The security council operatives are on top of their job to ensure a happy Easter celebration. Anyone causing peddling falsehoods about missing male genital would face severe sanctions if found”, she added.
