Give Job Opportunities To Our Women — Nana Ama Ampomah Urges Gov’t Appointees

The Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser,  Nana Ama Ampomah has charged government appointees to consider qualified party people for jobs in their outfits when there are vacancies.

According to her,  this is the best form to resource party people when they are given jobs to do.

Addressing the women’s wing of the party as well women’s groups in the Asokwa Constituency, the Regional Executive said it had taken the toil of party people especially women to get these appointees into places in government.

She added that giving these party faithful jobs is only a way of appreciating the toil and efforts of them and to ensuring they have something to do and to eke out a living.

“When the party needed power to allow Nana Akufo-Addo to implement his transformational policies it was the women and the members of the party who worked to bring us power and they deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour once power has been won”,  Nana Ama passionately stressed.

ASOKWA MP:
Addressing the women, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, Member of Parliament for Asokwa said the women needed to be commended for their commitment to the NPP.

This, she noted is the reason why many of the upcoming initiatives from government through the Youth Employment Agency and the Agric Ministry are tailored to the youth which has women forming the largest number.

Madam Appiagyei also announced the provision of equipment and tools for persons who want to go into entrepreneurship.
