Give Akufo-Addo Four More Years To Do More For You- Upper Denkyira West DCE Urges Ghanaians

Hon. Agyemang Asiedu, Upper Denkyira West District Chief Executive, has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to extend the mandate of President Akufo-Addo for another four years so he can do more for them.

He emphasized that, “it is only the NPP government that can sustainably develop the country by first laying a solid foundation for the take off of the economy so the people can feel proud.

According to Hon. Asiedu who was speaking on Election 2020 flagship programme on Wontumi Radio and TV on Wednesday, recalled that, for about eight years that John Mahama was in power, there was nothing like “a pollinators initiative” but thanks to Nana Akufo-Addo this has been introduced to give a major boost to the cocoa yield.
“The pollinators are doing great things for farmers in the Upper Denkyira West.” He acknowledged.

Hon Agyemang Asiedu said that, the NPP will forever be remembered for the introduction of the NHIS policy by former President John Agyekum Kufour, because “patients now secure free health care.”

In addition, Hon. Asiedu said, the introduction of the free Senior High School policy by Nana Akufo-Addo has eased the burden on parents who for some time past found it cumbersome to enroll their wards to further their education.

“The NDC vehemently opposed the introduction of the free SHS and sponsored 48 adverts on the eve of the 2016 elections to run it down but they are now promising to extend it to the private schools if they come to power.” He jabbed

The Upper Denkyira West DCE questioned the NDC’s sincerity in lambasting the government’s for making a whooping 2 billion Dollar investment in the free SHS.
These same people who are saying we are spending too much money on our children are pledging to bring private school on board the free SHS as if that will not attract extra funding. One can’t trust the sincerity of the NDC?” He quizzed.

He commended President Akufo-Addo for extending the free water idea to all consumers to the end of the year saying, “no President in Ghana has ever done that.”

“We were in dumsor for four solid years but ironically, the electricity tariff was increased. But to the contrary the lights are always on but the President, out of compassion has reduced the tariff for all manner of consumers.” The DCE noted while showering praises on the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Hon. Asiedu, however, appealed to the Ghanaian electorate to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and all the NPP Parliamentary candidates in order to get majority MPs to make it easier for good decision to be made for the country.
