Former vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, ought to be celebrated for vacating his official residency at Cantonments without controversy, Mr. Yaw Adomako Baafi, has said.
The Cantonments residency is reserved for a serving Vice President and it would be recalled that former President John Mahama who used to occupy the place, refused to vacate the place after losing the 2016 presidential elections to President Akufo-Addo.
It is based on the afore history that Yaw Adomako Baafi is reminding Ghanaians to celebrate Bawumia for abstaining from emulating Mr. Mahama in the aftermath of the 2024 elections.
“But what makes me happier is that Bawumia is a selfless man. After he lost the elections, he didn’t wait to vacate the Cantonments house unlike Mr. Mahama who didn’t want to leave… Such a man should be celebrated”, he said.
