Ghanaians Don’t Have Short Memory- Nana Oteatuoso Tells John Mahama
A staunch NPP supporter, Nana Oteatuoso, has cautioned that Ghanaians would not repeat the 2016 mistake of bringing back the NDC to power come the December 7 elections..
According to him, John Mahama is under the illusion that Ghanaians have a short memory and as such have forgotten his insulting utterances and the mess he created during his era as President of the Republic.
The Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng, told Oheneba Nana Asiedu host of Wontumi Radio and TV’s Morning Show on Friday that, Ghanaians indeed don’t have a short memory as the former President thinks.
”Ghanaians have a high retentive memory except that we are a forward looking people not vindictive.”
He added, “we are always full of hope that things would get better no matter how severe or unpredictable the circumstances or situations are. Setbacks or adversities don’t scare us but make no mistake, we are a proud people who can’t be taken for granted. That ‘s the typical Ghanaian temperament.”
He said that, under the Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia’s administration Ghanaians are enjoying the quality governance and massive infrastructural development across the length and breadth of the country which give them hope.
“The electorate are now more discerning and would not give ears to John Mahama’s deception.
Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II added that, “the good people of Ghana are pleased with the better administration of Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP and would use the December elections as a thanksgiving gesture.”
“We are grateful to Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia for the quality governance they are exhibiting. God bless them for introducing the free SHS.” He noted
He emphasized that free SHS has eased the burden on parents especially, the payment of school fees which was for several years the biggest challenge confronting them in the upkeep of children.
” With the school fees challenge over, parents can now have the luxury of restocking their wardrobe to beautify themselves.” He said
The Akyem royal chastised the “naysayers” who continue to stand on roof tops to criticize the free SHS policy at the least opportunity even though. they are also benefiting from it.
Nana Oteatuoso is convinced that, when the election date is due Ghanaians in their millions will glorify Nana Akufo-Addo with a resounding electoral victory..
