A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Lawyer George Oppong, has expressed his opinion that Ghanaians deserve the treatment they are receiving from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including the revocation of appointments.
Speaking on Wontumi TV with Oheneba Nana Asiedu, Lawyer Oppong said Ghanaians had the opportunity to vote for Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, who had a vision for the country, but instead chose to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC. He criticized the NDC’s “resetting” agenda, which he believes aims to destroy the gains made by the previous administration.
“They are here to reset the free SHS by canceling it, revoking appointments, destroying jobs created by Akufo-Addo, and ensuring they reset everything back to square zero. This is what we’ve voted for as Ghanaians. Thus, we shouldn’t complain, we just need to keep mute and suffer,” Oppong stated.
Oppong also accused the NDC of threatening national security, promoting insecurity, and setting the country on a path to default. He showed no empathy for those affected by the NDC’s actions, stating that Ghanaians “deserve it.”
