The founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has said his party is the messiah Ghanaians have been waiting for.

He unveiled this on Movement In The Morning Political Show.

Kofi Akpaloo who is also the flagbearer for his party come December 2024 says he will bring economic liberation to the people of Ghana.

“We changed our logo from the computer to the star for a purpose. When Jesus Christ was born, the star appeared to indicate that a savior has been born. Ghanaians have been crying for a long time and they are waiting for the messiah and he is sitting right before you Dawuro’’, he said.

He indicated that when he becomes the president, everyone will be free in terms of socio-economic well-being. Adding that no delegate will be bought to vote because the system will be choked with money and everyone will be paid even if one is employed or not

”Even newly born babies will be remunerated”, he disclosed.

He went on to say that, the system will be flooded with money to the extent that money will be chasing citizens and everyone will enjoy their peace of mind.

“Let’s say you have four kids and everyone is paid 300 cedis monthly, that amounts to 1200. New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should step aside. Tell Chairman Wontumi that if he has broken the 8 in the Ashanti Region does not mean NPP will break the 8 at the National level”, he uttered.

Percival Kofi Akpaloo is a Ghanaian politician, founder, and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana which was founded in 2011.  He was disqualified in the 2016 general elections.

Kofi Akpaloo dissolved the Independent People’s Party (IPP) and formed the Liberal Party of Ghana in March 2017. On December 7, 2020, he contested the Presidential elections with Margaret Obrian Sarfo as his running mate.
