Ghanaian teenager Mike Aidoo has made his debut for Inter Milan. The 19-year-old played his first game for the Italian club in a pre-season friendly against Spanish team Las Palmas, where Inter Milan secured a 3-0 victory.
Aidoo came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute, replacing defender Yann Aurel Bisseck. Last season, Aidoo trained with the first team while playing in the Italian Primavera1 youth league.
Reflecting on his debut, Aidoo said, “It was a very unique moment, something you always dream about, and thanks to God I had the opportunity to get on the field and share it with big players.”
He also praised manager Simone Inzaghi, stating, “Simone Inzaghi is a really good coach. He just motivates you to do well and he just says to play how you do and be concentrated all the time.”
Aidoo added, “He congratulated us boys that came in and he was just happy for all the team and the team performance.”
