The running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO says, the country will not see power outages (Dumsor) when the party takes the reins of government on December 7.
According to him, he will work relentlessly together the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to ensure the stability of the nation’s electricity supply.
Speaking at the NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch on Sunday, August 18, 2024, Mr Prempeh re echoed the commitment of the party to transform the energy sector.
“One thing I can assure Ghanaians is that if Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is given the mandate on December 7, Ghana will never again experience dumsor. With concerted efforts, we will restore the power” he said.
He further stated that, Dr. Bawumia is the only presidential candidate who has never been investigated for corrupt activities.
“Our flagbearer is not corrupt. He has not been accused of corruption, has never been investigated for corruption and he will never be corrupt ” he added.
