Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku, the spokesperson for Asante Kotoko, indicates that there have been advancements in the ongoing legal battle for Francis “Nana Pooley” Frimpong’s justice.
The Porcupine Warriors demanded justice for the fan earlier on Monday, February 17, when the parties to the murder case appeared in court.
During Kotoko’s match against Nsoatreman on matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League, Pooley was stabbed in Nsoatre and died as a result.
The Asante Kotoko Communication Director, Sarfo Duku, told Gideon Okyere Anim on Original TV after yesterday’s hearing that the police had managed to identify the person responsible for the stabbing.
”At first, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, his bodyguard, and another individual were arrested. Two individuals were granted bail when we first called, but the third was turned down. His lawyer had submitted a bail application yesterday.”
“In the second case, the police claim to have identified the murderer as Brimah, despite the fact that six people were arrested overall. He has been on the run,”he added.
