Is Ghana becoming a Cocaine Coast?
The question by Kwaku Dawuro, a distinguished broadcaster with Movement TV begs for immediate answer from authorities especially President John Dramani Mahama.
Within a short time in government, Kwaku Dawuro claims the cases involving cocaine has plummeted, leading to an assumption Ghana is being turned into a “cocaine coast”.
Speaking directly to President Mahama, Kwaku Dawuro insisted that when he came to power, Ghana has “recorded three cocaine cases”.
“Is Ghana becoming a cocaine coast?” he rhetorically asked.
He further questioned if Ghana under the leadership of President Mahama has now become a “transit point” where illegal drugs are traded in the world.
“Today cocaine is found everywhere in Ghana. Then there is the issue of Red 250 which is destroying he lives of the youth in the country”, he said.
In the past eight (8) years of former President Akufo-Addo, Dawuro stated that there were not much cocaine related cases like what we are witnessing under his successor President Mahama.
“We can’t allow Ghana be turned into cocaine coast”, he maintained.
