Ghana Approves Two More COVID-19 Vaccines
The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has approved two more COVID-19 vaccines for importation and vaccination in the country.
The FDA approved the Moderna Spikevax and Pfizer- BioNTech for use in vaccination to curtail the spread of the pandemic.
This brings the number of approved vaccines to five, according to Head of Vaccines, Dr. Edwin Nkansah said.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, Dr. Nkansah emphasized that the vaccines are powerful and can combat the spread of the coronavirus.
He said the vaccines are strictly controlled by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The Head of the FDA biological products warned that, the vaccines are not for sale and that if anybody is caught selling them, the person would be dealt with.
