Free SHS: Popular Radio Presenter Urges Beneficiaries To Campaign For Nana Akufo-Addo
Popular Radio Presenter cum Business mogul, Mawuli Ekpe Peter, has called on the free SHS beneficiaries especially, those graduates to publicize the policy and campaign for Nana Akufo-Addo.
He said that they should testify to the benefits of the Policy to Ghanaians every where .
According to Mawuli , “but for the free SHS most qualified students couldn’t have acquired SHS education.
He said that, the Beneficiaries should be more determined in telling the success story of the free SHS because it is only their ability to protect and project the concept that the distracters ploys to down play its relevance can be defeated.
“I am expecting them to continuously drum home the point that education is the only key that can bring about the country’s rapid development.” He said
According to the NDC supporter who just defected to the NPP after supporting the opposition party for 26 years there’s nothing the NDC can be credited with in transforming the education sector.
“When Akufo-Addo started to promote the free SHS idea, John Mahama spoke against it saying freebies are not good and that if anything at all the SHS can be made free only in 20 years time. This makes it pertinent for the beneficiaries to campaign for the NPP to win the December elections so that the policy can exist for long to benefit those who will come after them.” He said
Mr. Ekpe Peter emphaiszed that, NDC under Mills Mahama was in power for eight years whiles the NPP has also been in power for just three and half a years yet the NPP’s achievements far surpass the NDC’s
He said that, per the achievements of Nana Akufo-Addo, Ghanaians should vote for Akufo-Addo to do more for the benefit of more people.
