Francis Adomako Gives PPE, Cash To Support Asokwa MP
The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako Monday morning presented personal protective equipment (PPE) and cash of GHC5, 000.00 to the Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Madam Patricia Appiagyei.
The gesture, according to the NPP regional executive was to support the Asokwa legislator to prosecute the last lap of her campaign in Asokwa.
The items included 200 boxes of hand sanitizers, 200 boxes of water, 4 bales of second hand clothing, 2 boxes of nose masks and 4 boxes of face shields.
At a brief presentation ceremony at the MP’s residence, Mr Adomako said he was giving back to the hand that raised and fed him to reach where he is now.
“Today i come here with much excitement because this is the house and the woman who nurtured me into politics and I am giving back to show my appreciation to my mother who need a a third term in Parliament to better the lot of the people of Asokwa”, Mr Adomako stressed.
APPEAL:
The regional organiser appealed to residents in Asokwa to look at the development programmes and initiatives by the Asokwa legislator and grant her another term on December 7.
He noted that apart from every basic school having its share of development projects including the construction of ICT centres, the MP has also ensured needy ones got scholarship packages to further their education.
Many youth in the community, Mr Adomako disclosed have gotten jobs in the security services as well as NABCo and the civil service to pursue careers they desire.
The Regional Organiser said roads in Asokwa are seeing face lift with new ones being constructed to open up the constituency to more economic activity.
APPRECIATION:
Speaking with a tempered tone, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, MP for Asokwa thanked the regional organiser for the gesture.
She noted that it was well pleasing to see people you nurture rise up to become well to do in the society.
Mr Francis Adomako, Madam Appiagyei noted as a son had risen from being a constituency organiser for Asokwa to regional organiser because he learnt the right rudiments of life and politics.
She asked other well to do members of the party to do their best to support the campaign of the NPP so that together they could give the party’s candidates a resounding victory on December 7th.
“Today i stand here happy to see my son, Francis give back to support my campaign and to see him work so hard in the office he occupies in the regional executive of our party and I know on December 7 all the hard work from the polling station, constituency as well as regional campaign teams will be rewarded with a resounding victory for the NPP”, Madam Appiagyei noted to rapturous applause from the crowd at her house.
