The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) says it has uncovered an ongoing recruitment fraud involving fake appointment letters circulating on social media.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, the Service disassociated itself from the fraudulent activities.
“Fake appointment letters and prospectuses circulating on social media are not from the Ghana National Fire Service but the work of fraudsters,” the post emphasised.
GNFS has therefore urged applicants to exercise caution, remain vigilant and also report any suspicious activities.
“Applicants are advised to remain vigilant and report any such suspicious activities to the GNFS or the Police for immediate action,” the post added.
