EPL: Arteta to sell seven players before summer window closes [Full list]

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is looking to get rid of at least seven squad members before the summer transfer window closes on September 1, according to reports.

The Gunners currently have 32 players in the first team and Arteta wants to trim that number down.

Granit Xhaka, Pablo Mari, Auston Trusty and Matt Turner have already sealed permanent moves away from the Emirates.

Runar Alex Runarsson and Marquinhos have left on loan.

Folarin Balogun is one of the seven players Arsenal are looking to offload. Monaco and Chelsea are interested in the 22-year-old striker.

Albert Sambi Lokonga is another player that could leave and has been linked with Brighton, although they are more interested in a loan and the Gunners would prefer to sell.

Arsenal are looking to sell Kieran Tierney too, who had been strongly linked to Newcastle United before they brought in Lewis Hall from Chelsea.

The Gunners are also open to offers for Rob Holding, Nicolas Pepe, Cedric Soares and Nuno Tavares.
