Energising Beetroot and Carrot Juice Recipe – 5 Steps

The beautiful thing about beetroot and carrot juice is that you too can make this juice in the comfort of your home, having it fresh always.
Ingredients required for this juice are not hard to find and we can get them from the fruit section at a grocery shop or a fruit mart.
Ingredients for preparing healthy beetroot and carrot juice
4 meduim size beetroots with its leaf
10 sizeable Carrots
1 clove Ginger
2 red Apples
2 meduim size Lime
Procedure for preparing healthy beetroot and carrot juice
Step 1: Wash and peel the skin of the beetroots, carrots, ginger, lime. You may not necessarily need to peel the skin of the Apple after washing.
Step 2: Chop the washed beetroots, carrots, ginger, apples and lime into small sizes.
Step 3: Put the chopped fruits and vegetables into a juicer if you have one or you can choose to use a blender. Put everything into a blender, add some volume of water into the blender and then blend till it is smooth.
Note: it may not be completely smooth as there would be some residues in it.
Step 4: Pour the blended content into a sieve and extract the juice, discarding the residue. You can choose to add a little more water to the residue to extract more juice.
Step 5: Chill your juice a little and enjoy later or throw in some ice cubes and drink immediately.
