Emulate the Good Works of Your Immediate Predecessor – Kumawumanhene Urges Newly Appointed DCE

The Paramount Chief of Kumawu, Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua, has advised the newly appointed District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kumawu, Hon. Kwasi Amankwa, to emulate the humility, respect, and commitment to collaboration demonstrated by his immediate predecessor, Samuel Addae Agyekum

During a courtesy visit to the Kumawu Traditional Council, the Kumawumanhene emphasized that Hon. Samuel Addae Agyekum, the former DCE, achieved notable success because of his respectful relationship with traditional leaders and his openness to advice.

“Your predecessor was successful because he was humble, respectful, and listened to me and elders. That is what made him stand out, He worked closely with us, and that harmony brought real development to Kumawu. I urge you to follow in his footsteps.”

The visit formed part of Hon. Kwasi Amankwa’s efforts to formally introduce himself to the traditional leadership and familiarize himself with ongoing projects in the district. He was accompanied by some senior officials from the district assembly.

In his remarks, the new DCE expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged to work in close partnership with the traditional council to advance development in Kumawu.

The engagement ended with a tour of selected project sites within the district, where Hon. Amankwa was briefed on progress and challenges by local officials.
