Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty has addressed comments made by Evangelist Diana Asamoah regarding the venue for her late mother’s funeral.
Asamoah advised Gifty against using any astroturf facilities built by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) due to political concerns.
In a video, Asamoah said, “I told her to go to her ‘Afrafranto’ party and ask them for an astroturf.”
During a condolence visit by some gospel colleagues, one friend jokingly mentioned Gifty’s restriction from using NPP-constructed astroturfs.
Empress Gifty laughed off the remark, choosing not to engage in a public feud.
As funeral preparations continue, her final venue choice remains undisclosed.
