The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, better known as Chairman Wontumi is determined to spread the good initiatives of Dr. Bawumia, even after the Flagbearer had ended his tour of the Ashanti region.
Specifically, on the innovative transportation solutions championed by Dr. Bawumia.
After the Vice President’s visit to Kumasi which ended on Wednesday, Chairman Wontumi took it upon himself to embark on a mission to educate the communities about the benefits of electric cars, motorbikes, and the E-pragya initiative.
“My dear friends and fellow Ghanaians,” he began, his voice booming across the public squares.
“We are at a crossroads in our nation’s history. We can continue to rely on fossil fuels, or we can embrace the future. And the future is electric”
“Dr. Bawumia has shown us the way, and it’s our duty to follow. Electric cars, motorbikes, and the E-pragya initiative are not just innovative ideas – they are the keys to our prosperity,” he said.
He explained how the lithium battery would replace fuel, and how the electric vehicles would reduce costs and pollution.
The group of men he had joined to play games, listened intently, their faces lit up with understanding and excitement. Some nodded their heads, while others asked questions.
Chairman Wontumi answered each one patiently, his enthusiasm infectious.
He traveled from town to town, explaining how these eco-friendly alternatives would not only reduce reliance on fossil fuels but also mitigate the impact of rising petrol prices.
“The lithium battery is the game-changer,” he emphasized. “No more fuel worries”, he said.
Wherever he went, Chairman Wontumi encouraged people to embrace the electric revolution.
He announced that he was teaming up with partners to bring in electric cars and motorbikes, making them more accessible to the people.
