Election 2020: NDC Petition Was Fundamentally Incompetent- Dr Bawumia Mocks
The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) petition to challenge the 2020 general election was fundamentally incompetent.
He mocked that rather than mounting a serious effort the NDC went to the Supreme Court to assert that the EC served them tea without biscuit.
Speaking at the NPP National Delegates Conference at Kumasi on Sunday, Dr Bawumia recalled that the NPP in 2012 presented over 10,000 pink sheets to challenge the results.
When Asiedu Nketia went to the court and was asked where are your evidence and pink sheet, he said I’m not here to challenge the results,” Dr Bawumia further mocked.
“The bottom line is they had no evidence to challenge our victory notwithstanding all the noise they made to deceive their supporters,” he said.
