Education Minister, Bosomtwe DCE Mark 2021 Farmers Day In A Grand Style(PICTURES)

As Ghana celebrates the 37th Farmers’ Day to honour gallant and hardworking farmers, the Bosomtwe Constituency of the Ashanti Region marked it fascinatingly.

The event was celebrated at Amakom- Lakeside and it was graced by the Minister of Education, Hon. Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum who doubles as the MP for the area.

DCE for the area, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Kwesi Assuming and some other high profile personalities were equally present.

Speaking at the event monitored by Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw, Hon. Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum stressed that Government is determined to improve the agriculture status of the country.

He lauded the Planting for Food and Job (PFJ) as a good initiative.

The Education Minister noted that every farmer intends to work hard to facilitate their wards’ success in life.

“If the farmers work hard and take keen interest in their children’s education they will reap what they sow,” he said.

He stated that President Akufo-Addo detest parents and widows to be in hardship so he has introduced the free Senior High School policy to ease the hardship.

“Parents should work hard to cater for their children because it’s only education that can stimulate development.;

Hon. Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum affirmed that, he and the DCE, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Assuming will continue to conspire to develop the Bosomtwe Constituency massively.
