E-Levy Will Not Collapse Businesses Nor Bring Hardship- John Kumah

Deputy Minister of Finance, Lawyer John Kumah says the electronic levy, will not collapse businesses nor impose hardship on Ghanaians.

According to him, it will rather augment the financial status of the country.

Appearing on Wontumi Radio Morning Show on 25/01/2022, he added that, the E-Levy will augment the collection of taxes.

Lawyer John Kumah hinted that, Ghana is seeking to reduce its physical deposit from 12.1% to 7.4% and that the elegy will help champion that course.

The MP for Ejisu Constituency said the E-Levy will help reduce the yearly debt so it doesn’t incur a plight for the country.
