Ashanti regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has praised President Nana Akufo-Addo as a visionary leader, likened to Moses, guiding Ghana towards unprecedented growth and development.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Akufo-Addo’s administration has achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying his legacy as one of the country’s most impactful leaders since independence in 1957.
“Akufo-Addo is the Moses of our time, leading Ghana to the promised land, and Dr. Bawumia is the Joshua who will take over to complete the task,” Chairman Wontumi stated.
President Akufo-Addo’s leadership has been instrumental in driving Ghana’s progress, with notable achievements in healthcare, education, and economic growth.
His initiative to construct 111 hospitals, a feat unmatched by any previous president, demonstrates his commitment to improving the nation’s healthcare.
In education, Akufo-Addo’s government has invested heavily in infrastructure, with new constructions in every school, and significant improvements in WASSCE results.
Ghana’s economy was growing at an impressive rate until the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine war hindered progress. However, the economy has begun to recover, and Chairman Wontumi attributed this to Akufo-Addo’s vision and leadership.
“Akufo-Addo should have led us to the promised land by now, but for COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war. The rate at which our economy was growing was tremendous,” he noted.
