Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, Joseph Osei Owusu has sadly described the demise of former MP for Tafo Constituency as spontaneous and painful.
Dr Anthony Akoto Osei died on Monday, 20/03/2023.
He was on admission at a private facility in Accra from where he was referred to a tertiary hospital where he passed away.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, Joe Wise recalled: “I know he has been sick for about half and a year but I didn’t expect him to die so soon.”
The first Deputy Speaker of Parliament cried that Ghana has lost a great asset.
‘I went to meet him in Parliament but how he gets time to teach you things in Parliament is beyond imagination,” he eulogized.
