Founder and CEO of Atta-Mills Institute, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, has warned his party members against voting for Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia as their National Chairman.
His caution to the National Democratic Congress is based on the firsthand tabs he kept when he deputized Mr. Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito in 2014 as General Secretary.
According to Mr. Anyidoho, General Mosquito is an “incompetent” person who can’t even put his thoughts together to write or issue a press release as General Secretary.
“At the second anniversary of the passing of Jerry Rawlings, he failed to even issue a statement to commemorate the event. I was doing all the writings for Asiedu Nketia when I was his deputy because of my writing skills”, Mr. Anyidoho said on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
He emphatically stated that if the NDC elects General Mosquito as their National Chairman, they would lose the 2024 elections to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“If the NDC makes a mistake of making him (General Mosquito) their Chairman, the party should forget about 2024”, he said.
Mr. Anyidoho stated that the main reason General Mosquito wants to be the NDC’s Chairman, is to grab power to frustrate the party.
He called out his former boss stating that “Johnson Kojo Asiedu Nketia has no credibility” and added that “he wants to be Chairman and leader of the party to frustrate the party”.
