Lawyer William Kusi has advised against crediting only vice President Bawumia for sphereheading the digitalization drive in Ghana.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, lawyer William Kusi bluntly stated that digitalization in Ghana isn’t the idea of the vice president.
“In the field of digitalization, I believe he has done well. I believe it is one of the reasons why Ghana would move forward but he was just working; it wasn’t his idea”, he said.
He however acknowledged and praised Dr. Bawumia for the role he has played in pushing digitalization in Ghana.
According to him the digitalization agenda is “governments’ idea and as vice President, he (Bawumia) was put there to oversee it.”
Lawyer William Kusi noted that with the work vice President Bawumia has done on digitalization, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong would make room to work with him should he emerge flagbearer of the NPP and subsequently, the President of Ghana.
“When Kennedy comes, he will give a job for him to supervise”, he said.
