Players from the Agogo South table tennis team outclassed and outplayed others drawn from the other electoral areas in Asokwa.

It was therefore not surprising that they took home the winners’ trophy at the end of the three day games at the Edward Osei Kwaku Youth Center in Ahinsan-Estate.

The games dubbed ‘CUSCUS GAMES’ drew a lot of enthusiasm from residents and participants on the second day and it was not surprising that at the semi-final games a large crowd attended to it as well as the final matches.

But in the end, Agogo South took home the winners’ trophy and cash amount of GHC 1500.00, while Asokwa Extension took home the runners-up prize of GHC 1000.00 with Gyinyase taking home the second runners-up fee of GHC700.00 as Ahinsan finished fourth picking a consolation prize of GHC 500.00.

PERSONALITIES:

Perhaps what brought the excitement to the games was the appearance of some personalities in Asokwa whose political clouts bring crowds anytime they move.
