Municipal Chief Executive of Jaman South municipality, Andrews Bediako, has called on Government to come to the aid of the people of Jaman south and fix their roads.
He bemoaned in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning show, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, of the decrepit state of the roads in Jaman south. The aggrieved MCE on behalf of his constituents, reached out to the government to assist them by constructing their various depleted roads.
He said that ”it hurts me and especially my people because they feel neglected. I see constructed roads at Berekum and Dormaa and although they still lament about their roads, at least they have tarred roads, but with ours its very bad. There are so many beautiful monuments there but when you check the roads, it saddens you so I will talk about it at the least opportunity given.
When MMDCEs meet and it’s my turn to talk, it becomes obvious for everyone to know what I’m about to say because of the road complaints I always make, because the favor people of Jaman south needs from Government is to construct roads and nothing huge. There is money over there due to the cashew plantations people have, so what Government can also do to assist them is the road construction.”
