The difference between President Akufo-Addo and former President Mahama is that the former gives respect to his predecessors; whilst the latter, disrespects his predecessors the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has observed.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show stated that President Akufo-Addo has raised the bar and has always acknowledged the works of former President Kufour anytime he talks about the achievements of the NPP.
He was however quick to point out that former President Mahama has failed on countless occasion to acknowledge the works of former President Rawlings and the late former President John Evans Atta-Mills when he talks about the achievements of the NDC.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that “Akufo-Addo refers to Kufour as my boss because of the opportunity he gave to him in his political life to become an Attorney General and Minister for Foreign Affairs. When have never seen John Mahama who used to be a ‘connection man’ give credit to Jerry Rawlings anytime he mounts a campaign platform”.
