Comparing NPP State Housing Projects To NDC’s Is Mediocrity- Kwabena Ampofo

The Managing Director For State Housing Company Limited, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, has emphatically stated that comparing the state housing project under the Akufo-led administration to the Mahama led administration is mediocrity.

Joining Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, Mr. Ampofo Appiah revealed the outstanding works they are doing.

He said, ”we have not gone to the bank for loan for any building project-we generate our money through internally generated funds. I don’t like it when people compare the state housing project under the Nana Addo and Mahama led administration because it limits us. We want to be compared to state housing projects in Egypt, South Africa and other countries, that gives us the motivation to move forward and do better. For 2022 alone we have built 8- 220 unit block house in Accra-Adenta. Through out the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) 8 years in power they built 12 houses. We need to set a standard for our country and know who we are aspiring to be and where we want to get to in terms of state properties. Is mediocre if we rub shoulders with NDCs”.

He added that there are specific projects that are available for everyone upon request. The state housing project he further stated is affordable and non-discriminatory and is available for every Ghanaian.
