Collins Dauda used to intimidate members of the New Patriotic Party with fake tasbih and incantations, Mr. David Boakye has revealed.
The Bono East regional Secretary for the NPP stated on Wontumi TV that it took the intervention of Hon. Mustapha Hamid to expose Collins Dauda at Asawase in 2008.
“In 2008 when the NPP was in power and there was a by election at Asawase, even leaders of the party couldn’t go to the collation center because of the NDC… Hon. Daniel Ohene Agyekum, Collins Dauda and Kwesi Ahwoi took over the place and it took Mustapha Hamid who was then the Youth Organizer for the NPP to expose Collins Dauda who was using fake tasbih and incantations to scare our people”, Mr. David Boakye said.
He therefore stated that with all this in mind, it would be right for the NPP to maintain Chairman Wontumi in the Ashanti region as Regional Chairman noting that “it was God’s opportune time to bring Wontumi to us when the party was in opposition.”
