Chief Donates Ultrasound Equipment To Juaben Hospital
Nana Biribireba Boateng, Chief of Biribireba and Chief Executive Officer of Christal Mining Consult and Christal A& B Chemist on Tuesday donated ultrasound scan and ECG machines to the Juaben Government Hospital.
The equipment valued at GHC 65, 000.00 would aid the hospital conduct ultrasound diagnosis and examination at the famous government hospital.
At a brief presentation ceremony at the precincts of the hospital, Nana Biribireba said he was touched by the plight of patients who have had to travel to Kumasi and elsewhere in the country to access such care via the use of the ultra-sound machine.
He noted that having such equipment at Juaben was therefore critical hence his decision to purchase and donate the same to help operations at the hospital.
COMMITMENT:
Affirming his commitment, the Chief and philanthropist said government alone cannot cater for the needs at all hospitals in the country.
This, he believes, puts an obligation on others like himself who have the resources to help out so that collectively they could contain and deal with challenges in the society especially those occurring at health facilities across the country.
Nana Biribireba urged organizations and institutions in the country to consciously search for places of care with difficulties and provide support to them.
By this, Nana noted many critical issues pertaining at health centers and hospitals across the country would be dealt with speedily.

Dr Kofi Buah-Hamilton, Medical Superintendent at Juaben Hospital thanked the Chief and philanthropist for the donation.
He said the gesture was timely because the hospital had had to turn away patients who required such services at the facility.
This situation, he noted, had persisted for long and was creating huge discomfort for clinicians and staff of the hospital as well as patients who needed urgent treatment.
Dr Hamilton called on indigenes as well as corporate and individual organizations to periodically support health facilities in Juaben to be on their feet so as to be able to cater for cases brought for attention.
