The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party is calling on the Ghana Police Service to quickly move in arrest Gbevlo-Lartey for inciting his party members to create mayhem in the Ashanti Region.
Gbevlo-Lartey, a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress and a former National Security Coordinator of Ghana, in a post made on his Facebook handle stated that “For Ashanti region: Time to standby to mass up as it expected would be required. No blinking! Eyes on the Prize!”
But responding to the threat by the NDC stalwart, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako strongly warned that if anything fishy should come from the NDC, they would be crushed and made to pay for that prize.
He called on the security agencies not to treat Larry Gbevlo-Lartey’s message with kids gloves but arrest him and ensure he doesn’t force NDC members to take to the street.
