Yesterday, I had the distinct honour to call on the Nayiri of Mamprugu kingdom ,Naa Bohagu Mahami Adbulai Sheriga, and his council, at his Palace in Nalerigu, as part of my visit to the North East Region of the country.
The occasion, though solemn and unique, it was an opportunity for me to show, as has been the case, my greatest of respect and loyalty to the leader who sees me as a son and a part of the Mamprugu Kingdom .
It was hearty and joy to see Naa Bohagu Mahami Adbulai Sheriga hail and in strong spirit.
Having a father figure like the Nayiri is an extreme privilege, as his constant counsel has remained key in shaping both my spiritual and political live.
What I have become today is as a result of his direction and the trust he has for me and what I stand for.
His words exhume wisdom, and anybody who walks in his counsel has never lacked in wisdom.
We discussed matters of mutual concern and how best we can help inspire confidence and hope in the people.
His believe in me is comforting as it will spur me to do more in ensuring the party stay united and focused.
I’m very grateful to him and his council. We shall continue to remain under his spiritual guidance and blessings.
A big thank you to the good people of Nalerigu. And to Nayiri and his council of Elders,I say May Allah keeps u in good health.
