The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Ashanti Regional, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), has received a comprehensive report from the party’s post-election review committee.
The report, which identifies key factors contributing to the party’s defeat in the 2024 General Elections, will inform strategic decisions for future electoral success.
The review committee, chaired by Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, engaged in extensive consultations with party members, stakeholders, and grassroots supporters. This inclusive approach ensured that diverse perspectives and concerns were captured and addressed.
Speaking to the press during the presentation of the report, Chairman Wontumi said “The report’s findings and recommendations will be disseminated to all constituencies within the Ashanti Region. This will facilitate a unified response to the challenges and opportunities identified, ultimately strengthening the party’s prospects for the 2028 elections.”
The post-election review committee comprised esteemed members, including:

– Ms. Emelia Antwi (Secretary)
– Mr. William Oppong Bio
– Hon. Ben Abdallah Banda
– Mrs. Rose Hamilton
– Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso
The field team, coordinated by Dennis Kwakwa, included several other dedicated party members.
Chairman Wontumi emphasized the party’s commitment to implementing the report’s recommendations at the regional level, ensuring that lessons learned from the 2024 elections inform a stronger, more unified approach for 2028.
