The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has come to the rescue of a sick girl at Dansame in Assin North.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi met the mother of the sick girl and personally gave them wad of cash to foot their hospital bill.
“Take her to the hospital and after doing that look out for Charles Opoku, he will help you. I will also help you.This isn’t how God created her. She is a very pretty girl”, Chairman Wontumi said to the mother of the girl.
Prior to this gesture, Chairman Wontumi had led a delegation from the NPP to pay for the casket to be used to bury a young married woman who had died sitting in a vehicle belonging to former President John Dramani Mahama at Dansame in Assin North.
