The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has given former President John Mahama twelve (12) hours to condemn the religious bigotry statement made by Sam Nartey George against vice President Bawumia.
In an angry tone, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that he has information to prove that Mr. John Mahama authored and directed the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram to speak against vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and the Chief Imam.
“I am serving notice to John Mahama, he must come out and condemn Sam George for the religious bigotry statement else I will release records to show that he coached and directed the boy to call Bawumia and the Chief Imam religious prostitutes”, Chairman Wontumi said.
Nartey George, has described the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Chief Imam and other well respected Muslims as religious prostitutes.
According to him, the vice president, Chief Imam and some other Muslims appear to profess both the Christian and the Muslim faiths at the same time. According to him, they are often seen in both churches and mosques for which reason, they are religious prostitutes.
