The engagement took place at the Garden City University College Kumasi – Kenyase on Sunday 27,March 2022.
The engagement which lasted for about three hour is an initiative of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling party to engage the youth about developmental projects being carried out by the NPP government in the Ashanti Region and Country at large.
The program which was under the theme;THE GHANA WE WANT AND THE ROLE OF TESCON(“A Lecture On How The Danquah, Dombo,Busia Tradition Has Helped Ghana Achieve It’s Goals,65years after Independence”)
Wontumi a real politician engaged the University students about the *Danquah,Busia Dombo* tradition as well as the E – Levy and other government policies.
The Humble but courageous Regional Chairman plans to move this engagement into all tertiary institutions across the Region to encourage the youth to be actively involved in government program and policies specially about the E-Levy and also to urge them to educate their family members and friends .
The Regional Chairman told the students populace about the sacrifices of Dombo and the sacrifice he made to the party and urged the youth around to exhibit the same sacrifice made by Dombo to the UP tradition ,he urged the youth to be mindful of their actions and have in mind they are the future of the party so must be very mindful of their actions and must have the party at heart.
He told students around NPP is the only political party that can help and develop Ghana.
Wontumi the experienced and real politician explained that, the money generated from the E levy would be used for the payments of contractors in Ghana. Also, revenue from the levy would be used to support entrepreneurship, cyber and digital security; road infrastructure and provide jobs to about 11million people in the country.P
