The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has offered to give out his five (5) TV stations to televise a debate between vice President Bawumia and former President John Mahama.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, stated on Movement TV that he has under his belt precious TV stations that can give the debate a national and wider coverage.
“I own Wontumi TV in Kumasi, Movement TV in Accra, Western Diamond TV in Tarkoradi, Billionaire TV at Western North and Western Gold TV at Tamale. I can’t wait for the day all these precious media will call for one-on-one debate between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Mahama”, he said.
He continued that after the debate between the two flagbearers, their running mates should also square off in the same intellectual exercise.
“I am calling for a debate between Bawumia and Mahama and after they have picked a running mate, I will want to see a debate between them as well”, Chairman Wontumi said.
