CEO Of Akonta Mines Promises To Sue Minister Of Lands And Natural Resources

The Chief Executive Officer for Akonta Mining Company Limited, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has promised to sue the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Armah Kofi Buah, for spreading falsehood about his mines.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi stated that he is determined to pursue the matter in court rather than allow the minister to tarnish his image pin galamsey allegations on his company.

We will take the minister to court, he can’t tarnish our image”, Chairman Wontumi said in an interview with Wontumionline.com.

According to the Akonta Mining CEO, he has also picked up intelligence that the minister is arranging to send excavators to his mining site and turn around to falsely blame him for it.

We have gathered that the minister is planning to move excavators to my site and turnaround to claim it is mine. We only have two bulldozers on our site which is being used to reclaim the land that has been destroyed by galamsey operators”, he shared.

Caution To Armah Kofi Buah

Chairman Wontumi cautioned Armah Kofi Buah to be mindful of his actions and take into account the demise of Pope Francis.

Every lie he is telling today, he would account for it. Even the pope who is considered holy is dead. Some people receive their payment here on earth. Some suffer through accident, sickness and hardships on their family members”, he said.
