The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has officially commenced the licensing of service providers in the gold trading sector, marking a major step in its mandate to restructure and regulate the industry. Effective Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Ghanaians aged 18 and above, as well as fully-owned Ghanaian companies, are eligible to apply for licenses either through GoldBod’s official website (http://goldbod.gov.gh) or in person at the Board’s main office in Accra.
