A week after the implementation of the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy), the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications is warning that the SIM cards, as well as the devices of persons defrauding people using the E-Levy, will be blocked when they are found out. The Ghana Grid Company has explained that the May 7 power outages in parts of the country were a result of a system disturbance caused by faulty equipment on the Takoradi Extension–Winneba line.
