Ghana’s Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, have been placed in Group B for the upcoming CAF WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
In these qualifiers, they will face Edo Queens from Nigeria, Omnisports Etincelle from Burkina Faso, and AS Garde National from Niger.
Group A has FC Inter D’Abidjan of Cote d’Ivoire, AS GNN of Benin and Ainonvi FC of Togo also battling out for a spot.
The draw was conducted by CAF officials at their headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on the morning of Wednesday, July 24.
The five-time Ghanaian champions aim to return to the continental stage for the first time since their debut in 2021, where they finished as runners-up.
The WAFU B qualifiers will kick off on August 10 in Abidjan, with the final scheduled for August 23, 2024.
