MTN FA Cup champions Dreams Football Club qualified for the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers after defeating Milo Football Club in the second leg of their tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Believers played out a 1-1 draw at the Lansana Conte Stadium, Guinea, in the first leg, and the return leg was no easy task for Dreams.
Karim Zito’s side had to come from behind to see out the Guinean side and book a place in the next phase of the qualification.
Milo FC took a 1-0 lead against Dreams going into the halftime break.
After the game resumed following the break, Dreams scored from the penalty spot through Agyenim Boateng to tie the game at one.
The FA Cup champions scored the second goal in the 90th minute through new signing John Antwi, helping them seal a win in the two legs 3-2 on aggregate.
Dreams FC will now face Kallon FC of Sierra Leone in the next round.
