C/R: Couples Ride In Aboboyaa For Their Wedding Ceremony(VIDEO)
Weddings in Ghana are becoming more and more expensive as time goes by making it difficult for a lot of people get married. Most men, with low incomes are scared of white weddings due to its related expenses. Even those who finally decide to get married opt for the traditional marriage and they are done.
An amazing incident happened last weekend at Komenda in the Central Region where a couple was found riding in an aboboyaa to the church premises for their wedding ceremony. According to the man, he is an aboboyaa driver and that he wasn’t shy using that for their wedding. He also said the woman understood they used the aboboyaa for the ceremony since that was what he could afford.
He made it known to some media personnel that to him renting a car was waste of money since he had to buy fuel in addition to the rent which he wasn’t having. He advised all people to cut their clothe according to their size just as he did. We wish them a happy marriage.
