Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has praised the decision to invite young players to Ghana’s National Football Team.
He said this in the lead up to the Black Stars friendly game against Uganda on March 26 at 16:00 GMT in Morocco after falling 2-1 to Nigeria in a prior friendly game.
A variety of issues including injuries forced players like Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey to miss out on honouring the latest Black Stars call up.
This led to a host of young players including Forson Amankwah, Ebenzer Annan and Ibrahim Osman getting called in as replacements.
Ahead of the Uganda game, Otto Addo says he has been impressed with the efforts of the youngsters in training.
“I think we made a good choice bringing them into the camp and we are already preparing for the future and this is really good to see there are young guys coming up, knocking on the door to enter the national team.”
“The players who have been here for a little time, they have to be aware because the young guys are hungry, they are good, they are developing and this is what will make us all better.”
